Jemrose Wines

The 2007 Gloria's Gem is composed of grapes from the Cardiac Hill Syrah Vineyard and the Two Sisters Merlot Vineyard. Aged 20 months in French oak barrels utilizing 50% new wood. Bottled unfined and unfiltered. 60% Merlot/40% Syrah.

Winemaker's Notes:
Elegant, voluptuous and supple. Complex nose of plums,cassis,blackberry,cinnamon,espresso and graphite. Rich and dense on the palate with intense flavors of dark berries, cherry, chocolate. Medium to full body with fine tannins and a long finish. Give this wine some air to show its best.

A rich and concentrated wine, the 2007 Jemrose Gloria's Gem is a blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Syrah and has a tapenade. Tobacco, meat, blackberry and earthy cassis aromatics, medium to full body, plenty of rich fruit and a long finish. This needed about an hour of air to show at its best and should drink well over the next 8+ years.
